So much for "never again"

Today, Palestinian militants in the Gaza strip launched rockets at Ashkelon in an indiscriminate campaign against civilians. In response, Israel's deputy defence minister threatened a "holocaust". Yes, really:

"The more [rocket] fire intensifies and the rockets reach a longer range, they (the Palestinians) will bring upon themselves a bigger holocaust because we will use all our might to defend ourselves," Matan Vilnai told Israeli army radio.
"Holocaust" is not a word used lightly in Israel - as the article notes, it's almost never used except to refer to the Nazi's act of genocide - and its unlikely to have been a slip of the tongue. So, high-up officials of the Israeli government are now threatening (or at least using the rhetoric of) genocide against those they oppress. So much for "never again"...
