The Many, not the few?

Last week, Labour leader Phil Goff gave a good speech positioning Labour as being on the side of the many, not the few. So, what specific policy is he advocating as part of this support for ordinary, hard-working New Zealanders? More tax cuts for the rich. Oh, its far less than National wants to give away, but still: a policy of giving a few hundred dollars extra to the 8.5% richest New Zealanders is the complete opposite of policy for "the many, not the few". And if they want to tackle inequality and restore public services, its the exact opposite of what they should be doing.

Can we have some actual left-wing politicians, please?
